Major win for Granger . . . and a fun run

Granger received his second major at the Sunday Terry-All shows under judge Christie Martinez.  Before he went in the ring, he tried his paws out on a Fast CAT run held concurrently at the show site.  22.08 mph wasn't a bad run on his first attempt - considering he was standing sideways before he figured out that he needed to chase those darn white plastic bags!

On the other hand, Tundra thought this was a tracking test. . .

before he decided to go back to the starting line.

Maybe he thinks the group ring is more his style.  He received another OH group placement at Terry-All.

Not to be outdone . . .

Tundra (BIS GrCH DVK9's Alaskan Winter Wilderness) wasn't about to let Granger steal the show at the Denver cluster.  His weekend include three owner-handler group placement, as well as a Group 4 in regular competition.

Owner handled Group 2 on Saturday.

Owner handled Group 2 on Sunday.

Owner handled Group 3 on Monday.

Tundra's really excited about the regular Group 4 on Monday.

New resident at Savitar - 2 wins at Denver shows!

Snowfire's The Galloping Ghost - a.k.a. Granger - got his first major at the Rocky Mountain Working Dog Group show in February  from the puppy class.  This in spite of having blown all his coat and being teenager-gangly.  He also won Winner's Dog at the Plum Creek shows.  Here he is at Christmas with our son, when he had coat.
